2025 Pinnacle Society Luncheon
On Tuesday, June 3, over 90 guests gathered at the Hanover Inn to attend the 2025 Pinnacle Society luncheon. Co-hosted by Joanne Conroy, MD, D’77, CEO and President of Dartmouth Health, and Duane Compton, PhD, Dean of the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and Professor of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, the luncheon offered attendees a chance to connect over a delicious lunch and listen to a thought-provoking discussion on the importance of aging well and healthcare decisions.
Nathan E. Goldstein, MD, Chair of the Department of Medicine, and Joseph M. Huber Professor of Medicine at Dartmouth Health and the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, moderated an insightful discussion with Ellen Flaherty, PhD, APRN, AGSF, and Angelo E. Volandes, MD, MPH. The topics discussed included thoughts on the guidance given to older adults on how to thrive in their later years, how to approach health care decision-making as you age, and how we can support older adults throughout their lifetimes. This conversation showcased firsthand how pivotal this discussion is in our region.
